Fire Works Cruises

The fireworks cruises are getting to be so costly. We love them they are so special and they can make a Disney trip even more so. Now at $250 that is a lot of money and there are no discounts that use to help in the past.
How do you feel about this???

I agree with you. I don't think I'll try to book them any longer. It was worth $120 plus tip to me, not twice as much for soda and chips.

We have taken the cruises in the past loved them and also shared with others. Never had problems meet some very nice people. With the new cost don't know what is going to happen. I think Disney is asking too much.The sharing cost will be now at least around $25 each if you had 11 people. That doesn't sound too bad. Guess we do love getting close to the fireworks and like I said meeting others who loved it as much as us. still $250 a lot and if you did not have a full boat then that is costly.

The prices changed last year, not long after our trip.

We took the Illuminations Cruise with just our family (4 of us) and we loved it. I wouldn't want to share one with people I didn't know, but that's just me. The price must not be deterring too many people, you still see posts of people looking to share because they couldn't get one when they called.

We have taken both a cruise with just our family and also with others. Liked both of course with the family is special. But also to share with other Disney friends you have never met and share stories of Disney with them. Then when the fireworks starts we sit thrilled, some this is their first time. If we are luckly to get one or able to join someone else we would do it. With the new prices still got to make sure we had a full boat. Do others feel the same or do most feel never again too high.

We are taking our first Wishes cruise this Thursday. We opted for the $200 boat and have invited 4 other DIS'ers to join us! Will be able to better answer the questions upon returning - but I do think it's expensive for a "boat" ride!

We have taken the wishes before the price change at that time they had no music. What a disapointment the music makes it. Now they have two different cruises one with music and without which of course is cheaper. Sounds like you have the one with the music. We thought t he wishes was too short. Please let us know how you like it and we do hope you really enjoy.
