Fire not working in Fantasmic?

I watched Fantasmic twice last week and both times the effect where the fire spreads across the water wasn’t working. It really makes Mickey saving the day kinda anticlimatic 😅.

Has it been broken for awhile?

I was there Thanksgiving Day and it was working properly. Hopefully it was just temporary.

We watched it on 12/1 and 12/6 - the fire worked fine on 12/1, but on 12/6 it didn't -- we speculated because it was SO windy that evening it just didn't catch as it should. At least that was our theory!

I’m happy to hear from the replies here that it’s not a longstanding problem. I watched on 12/3 and 12/5 and it wasn’t working on either night. It way maybe slightly windy on the first night, but it wasn’t windy on the second so who knows! Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon!

I can report that the fire was burning on November 21. But I took my lumps at ROTR earlier that day, when at least one show element wasn't working. D'oh

Not working tonight 12/15. Definite bummer, the show is a couple notches down without that effect…

Does the middle section usually shoot out water? I thought there were 3 sections that shot out the water at the audience at various points but only the sections to each side of the theater were working this evening.

Sorry to hear that. It was working on Tuesday. The water has shot out in 3 directions each time I’ve gone and seems to only reach those little 4 person bench seats right by the wall.

The fire was working on Tuesday? Or just the middle water effect? I’m curious if the fire has been continuously down since early December or if it’s been on and off.

We always sit very front row center and have never had water shoot out at us. We get in line very early with dining plan to get those spots. We have even been family of the day once because of it.

Yes, the fire was working. It was a windy week though, so maybe that explains it not being used the other days.

Don't remember which day is was, but we saw it once last week and there was fire.

Just finished watching first show tonight and they did not have the fire on the water unfortunately. It was not particularly windy or anything.

Yeah the two nights I went (with no fire effect) it wasn’t that windy, and one night it really wasn’t windy at all. I’ve definitely been to Fantasmic where the fire was working and it was so windy the water fans were blowing into the audience and we got pretty wet 😅

Same lol. I always crack up when that happens. This was first time we didn’t see the fire on the water. The dragon shot out fire. We were a few rows from front so idk if the substance that catches fire came out or not. I assume it didn’t. I honestly wasn’t really thinking about it until my daughter said “hey the water didn’t catch fire!”

We saw the January 2 8:00 show and Fantasmic was in B, if not C mode. The snake did not move, the dragon did not come out, and no fire. It was really awkward. There were 3 shows tonight so I'm wondering if that was the case for every show or just ours. Perhaps it's time for a refurbishment?
