I must say I surprised myself! It is acatually cute! She loves it! My figures are glad it is over! I can't sew to save my life and to sew fur... aw:
Hope next year she decides to be something I can purchase...sewing UGH! Not for me!

You're right - sewing fur stinks. I've done it already - and it was only willingly the first time. What I hated the most was going back over all the seams to pull out the fur to hide the seam....took forever! I made a teddy bear (Pooh) for DH when we were dating. (Long story )

I used to enjoy sewing, but I don't do it much any more - there's not enough light in the corner the machine is stuck in, DH always has junk piles on it, I don't have a large table to cut fabric on, etc, etc. And you know what? I don't miss it at all!

Congratulations on finishing the costume! I know how hard that is, my DD wanted to be a tiger this year and my mom made her a coustume with fur ( I can't sew!) All I have heard about for the past 3 weeks is how she will never make another fur involved costume! Can't wait to see pictures. And just think what a wonderful scrapbook page you will have describing what you went through to make it!

sewing machines run when I come near....lol! I am terrible at it. Much to my dismay I have to sew by hand at my job. When people want to frame some type of flag or jersey we have to sew it down by hand.....ugh.

Hope they uploaded. I seem to always have problems with it. Now granted this a very simple costume. I winged it no pattern! I wish I could take credit for the head piece but I bought it!
