1 bedrooms do tend to go last, so there is always a chance. Figure about 2 months until yoy will be able to book, so you will be about 5 months out,

If you are flexible with dates, you could find something. We don’t allow members to post current availability as it changes too often.

These charts are a nice tool to use as a reference point. It's important to note they're not predictive, only a record of history, but in general August is not the busiest time and you're looking at the most available room type in one of the most available resorts, so you do have a shot.

Last March I booked a week in a 1BR at AKL (Kidani) for mid-August 2019 without any problems. Availability was pretty good for both Standard and Savannah views at Jambo and Kidani if I recall. As striker1064 mentioned, history is not always predictive, but I think you shouldn't have any issues. If availability becomes tighter, Jambo House rooms will probably go first so your best bet may be at Kidani Village.

Skier Pete’s tables are great for a ball park reference, but they are not guaranteed. Right now even for SSR 2nd week in Dec 2020 the standard studio is missing some days. Most likely due to the refurbishment. Patterns change, but Augusta is usually a slower month for DVC due to temps. You should be able to get your room since 1 bedrooms are usually the most available of all room categories. The 1 bedrooms at Kidani have the extra bathroom.
