Fingers Crossed for Waitlist!

Hello we are anxiously awaited our May trip to Disney. We are staying at POR and then moving over to BWV for four nights. We are still on the waitlist for BCV though and we are really hoping it comes through for us (my little cousins are coming along and they would love SAB!) Have alot of people had success with the waitlist this close to their check in day (we check in May 23rd)? Do we have a chance of getting BCV? Please share your stories with me!

BCV is very busy this May - I think between Member Homecoming and the Flower and Garden festival chances are slim

We have been on the waitlist for the prior week - staying at BWV trying to get into BCV but no luck

We were just on the wait list for BCV, for an April 28th arrival.
We had BWV reserved, and wait listed for BVC, in a 1 BR.
The wait list expired 7 days before arrival, but the friday before, 5 days before, I called MS just to see if anything had opened.

They said I was in the BCV, what a nice surprise. Glad I called, my notification didn't arrive until the day we left home for Florida.

So YES, the wait list does work. Hang in there you never know.

We are checking into BCV on 5/23 and were trying to extend our stay by one more night. We have been waitlisting for over a month now and on Thursday a CM from MS told me that all on site DVC resorts had very lengthy waitlists. We finally gave up and booked elsewhere for the last night. She even checked CRO for a cash reservation and said they had nothing as well.

we are waitlisted for every or any reaort that week. no luck so far. gonna have to settle for POR.

Wow! It looks like there are a LOT of us in PO because we couldn't get DVC locations. I had no idea! We are waitlisted for SR (good luck!) We'll be in POFQ 5/23 + 24, then PORS 5/25 - 5/28. Hope to see some of you there!

Two weeks and counting... is anyone else EXCITED!!!

Hang in there for the waitlist. It came through for us last OCtober during Halloween week! GOod luck!

crbalb....what night were you trying to add? We are on a waitlist for May 30 for BWV and on a waitlist for all the other resorts except OKW for all four of our nights. Since we are only there for four nights, I would really like to stay in one place, but I am losing hope as well. I'm just wondering which night since MS told you there were lengthy waitlists.

Sunday, May 30th is the night we were trying for. We had waitlisted at BCV well over a month ago, and add all DVC resorts about 2 weeks ago. I called on Thursday, and was told a room at VWL was in inventory. CM put me on hold and returned 3 or 4 minutes later. She said that there was a very lengthy waitlist in place, and that I could not have the room. She then told me that she had checked the other waitlists while I was on hold and they all had very long waitlists. I asked if I had any chance, and she said "most likely not, especially with Member Homecoming and the holiday." Hope this helps in making your plans.

Thanks crbalb. That's pretty much what I was expecting. I was ready to take either a studio or a onebedroom, but it seems that I am out of luck. Oh well. I'll still be in WDW!
