I am phoning MS DVC tomorrow to hopefully book our 1st week at SSR on developer points, we already have 7th - 22nd Dec booked in a 1 bed villa, but have had to wait till tomorrow for 1st - 7th. Hope they have 1beds left at SSR. Flights & car sorted on 7 months to go

Don't forget that you can only book 7 months before the CHECK OUT date so for the whole week that would be May 8th or if going day by day you can start on May 2nd for the night of Dec 1st.

Managed to book 1 bed SSR for 1st - 7th Dec (on developer points so they book for length of stay because of all the paperwork
Also booked MVMCP dvc rates for 7th & 16th Dec.

Planning will be in full swing when park times are released, although from the 8th we will be trying to avoid WDW due to pop warner, will be doing US, IOA, SW & shopping that week

Great news you got what you wanted, but I thought with Developer Points you couldn't book until 7 months out, as it seems you have been able to get a head start on any non SSR owners booking at the 7 month window

Anyone can book a day at a time which i was planning to do, however they reserve the booking so my accommodation is reserved fully & then it all gets processed on the 7th, but due to the paperwork it seems they have to do it it one lump. Dont know if it being my home resort for both my original contract and the add on helped as i did have to book 2 days with normal points that could be done 11 mths in advance which was combined with the developer points.
