Fingerprints & Photographs

Hi all

I heard on the radio this morning that from today all visitors to America using the Visa Waiver Programme (22 countries including GB) will now have their fingerprints and photographs taken when you go through immigration.

I wonder how much time this will add to the process. I must admit I'm starting to get a little worried, I'll be going to Orlando via Newark, New York and only have a two hour window for my connecting flight.

I hope this is enough time

It adds about 10-15 seconds onto the whole process theres nothing to worry about- i dident even notice that i had my mug shot taken till after it was all done

Glad to hear it didn't take long. We are travelling in 2 weeks and after a 9 hr flight with 2 kids asking "how much longer ?" it would be a real downer if there was a long wait.
