Can I choose which finger is scanned? If I am left handed and prefer to use a finger on that hand, can I?

Yes, as long as you can remember which finger and use the same one every time!

Absolutely. And if you forget they'll just reset it after a couple of tries. My mom's a lefty and she uses her thumb because her fingerprints are really faint. She says it's from years of multiple handwash ings because she was a nurse! I say it's just old, thin skin.
