finger scan

does anyone know:if i use someone elses pass(cousin) and the scan does not work,will i get in ?will a broken finger help?i'm serious and on a serious budjet//any help appreciated : :

Anyway, if you "had" a real broken finger you would be asked to show ID which should match the person who has been using the pass. Some types of passes are hard coded to the orignal user and some are signed by the original user.

Ok. I looked at your other posts. NO! this won't work. APs are attached to the purshaser. They have names on them... your ID won't match and you won't be let in.

The tickets require a signature now. If the scan doesn't work they will need ID.

What ticket do you have? Once you use that ticket no one else can use it but you.

Yes, they will ask for id. It happened to my husband several times last summer.

You realize if they think something is going on with the ticket they will take it from you? How would you explain that to a friend that he no longer has an AP?

If mine doesn't scan, they have ALWAYS asked for my ID.

I had an AP for a year and was NEVER waved through if the scan didn't work.

Even with my 10 day MYW pass they asked for my ID when I couldn't get the finger scanner to work for me - which was just about everytime. Figures, I'm the Disney expert in the family and I'm the one who couldn't get the finger scanner to work!

When it doesn't scan and they ask to see photo ID, as they do most of the time, if you're lucky they'll just make you buy a ticket. If you're not lucky they'll cancel your friend's AP and make you buy a ticket. I guess if your friend's AP is about to expire he may not care.

If an AP holder doesn't have photo ID they might wave him through or they might ask questions like when and where you bought the pass, when did you last use it.

If you're on a tight budget do some of the timeshare tours for a free pass.
