Is it easy to find your way around the ship?

Thanks for the help

Jenifer

We found it easy to navigate around the ship. Occasionaly, we need to orient ourselves which direction is aft or forward.

Signs are also everywhere and on port days there are temp signs everywhere that point you to the deck/door that leads to the gangway.

Very easy to get around....there are maps and listings of the common areas everywhere. Our biggest problem was thinking we were "aft" when we were really "forward." The maps always set us right.

there is also a pocket guide which shows what is on each deck and where it is located on each deck

I've not been yet, so I must have read this somewhere: the anchors on the carpet are split into two colors, blue goes forward and the red goes aft.
I can't remember the source of this info. If I dreamed it up and it's wrong, I apologize.

Thank you,

I keep having this image of myself looking around with a blank stare wonder where on the boat am I?

After 3 trips on the Magic my wife still gets turned around. It will take a day or two but you will do fine.
If I had to be lost somewhere, I could think of no better place than the Magic.

Alas, the bit about the anchors on the carpet is wrong (at least with regards to the Magic) - you didn't dream it up though, I recall reading this someplace as well, just not where.

We checked this out on our cruise, the coloring is consistant on a given deck, but not deck to deck.

This was also confirmed by our cabin steward, who suggested that we just look at the signs instead.
