Hi guys,
I need your help...my 2.5 yr old is very into Toy Story (he insists on watching it and Toy Story 2 every morn.) I'd love to find these characters when we go in Nov.
I know I found Buzz in '04 but what about the other characters and where is the best place to find them?
DLCA is so geared toward Pixar films that the characters are a breeze to find. I'm just not sure how it goes at WDW, I tend to remember all characters being spread throughout all parks. Is there a place I could find this info out?
Thanks so much!
Heather

I've seen some characters at Tomorrowland in MK. Also, saw some at Downtown Disney. However, I tried to find the little green men with three eyes with no success.

MGM has a toy story meet and greet. Buzz and woody are there. Buzz is also next to the buzz lightyear ride in MK. I dont know the times but I am sure someone will.

Toy Story characters can usually be found at Al's Toy Barn at Disney-MGM Studios. It's near the exit to MuppetVision just to the left of the big San Francisco facade. Last time I was there Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and a Green Army Man were all there. Lines were actually pretty short when I was there, but as soon as I left, the audeince MuppetVision show let out into the area and it was crazy. Timing is everything, I guess.

At MK, I've also seen Buzz a number of times in Tomorrowland by his ride and Jessie and Woody in Frontierland either inside or near the Diamond Horsershoe. Times for those locations are listed in the MK Times Guide (as are the Al's Toy Barn times in the MGM Times Guide).

You can find them near Pizza Planet in MGM. There's an Al's Toy Barn set where the Buzz and Woody have scheduled appearances for pictures and autographs. If you check the times guide when you get there, you'll find the times. Buzz also appears in Tomorrowland, and one of the shows in Frontierland has been turned into a Woody and Bullseye meet and greet as well. Also, ask any CM where to find them. They can usually help. The Green Army Men are still around, but I am not sure where.

My mom is a huge Toy Story fan too! :thumbsup2 Last time we went we found Buzz near his Space Ranger Spin ride in Tomorrowland. We also saw Woody and Jessie and Bullseye near Al's Toy Barn in MGM. I think they are there pretty regularly. We leave in 2 weeks   If I see the Toy Story gang anywhere else, I'll be sure to post it.

You can find the Toy Story Characters (Buzz and Woody usually) at Al's Toy Barn at MGM, which is near the Muppets and right across from the Pizza Planet. I've heard that there are other Toy Story characters there too on occasion. You can see Woody and Jesse and sometimes Bullseye at the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon in the MK. It is in Frontierland. Buzz was hanging out at the Timekeeper building in Tommorowland MK. If you stop by the Information desk at the entrance of each of the parks they should be abe to give you a schedule for the day.
Toy Story is one of DD's favs too!

ETA: Others have faster fingers than mine! All these places got mentioned in the time it took me to post!

Meeko has it exactly right, we just saw them at those places, very easy to find them all(except Bullseye horse) All are in MK parade at 3pm too! Enjoy :thumbsup2

Thanks alot guys, I knew you could help. It's funny because dd (7) wasn't huge into the movie ( I have a pic of her and Buzz) so, I forgot all about Pizza Planet and the Toy Barn in MGM. My ds has seen the pic of dd and Buzz and he keeps asking 'Talk to Woody? Talk to Buzz? Give love?'
You know how parents are...it is my mission to give this boy his meeting with the characters...come heck or high water he WILL meet them!!! ;)
Thanks again! :)

Last summer, we found, what looked like the 'original' pull string Woody (we were *so* excited)! We found it on a cart right outside the Mickey's Backyard BBQ dinner show.

:)

BTW...when we came home, a friend of ours really loved the Woody we bought for our toddler and she wanted one for her daughter. A friend of hers went to WDW shortly after and found the same Woody at the same location so try there if your child really likes Woody. Have fun! :)

I also heard they appear at Al's Toy Barn in MGM studios and at the diamond horseshoe in Frontierland at Mk. Buzz can also be found by the timekeeper area in Tomorrowland in Mk. Check the website pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares for schedules of character appearances.

Holy cow! The cuteness slays me! :goodvibes

Good luck! You should have no problem finding these guys. I believe they, along with Captain Hook and Smee, are some of the easiest characters to find in the World. :thumbsup2

Like others have said, Buzz can be found at the COP in Tomorrowland, Woody and Jessie can be found by the Diamond Horseshoe, and all 3 (as well as the Green Army Men) can be found by Al's Toy Barn. Bullseye does not come out (although that may change soon) and the little green aliens do not come out.

Funny, I've been 3 times (twice in the last year) and have not yet seen Captain Hook and Smee. Last trip was just DW and I. I dubed it my character finding and photography trip (DW dubed it her shopping trip). In 4 days I had my picture taken with almost 50 different characters and also took almost 1500 pictures. It was lots of fun.

Each trip I've found Buzz and Woody (in many different locations), I've also run into Jessie (the last 2 trips), Green Army Men (each of the 1st two trips) and also Bullseye (2nd trip during MVMCP).

They are also part of the MGM Stars and Motor Cars Parade and the MVMCP Parade (at least from my experience).

Still searching for Captain Hook and Smee though. Guess I just had some bad timing.

I think Timekeeper is permanently closed now, so that's why Buzz is seen near his ride in MK. I'd check the times guide on the day you go to each park. Have fun!

Yes, the Timekeeper is now closed (but will reopen as the Laugh Floor Comedy Club in early 2007). Buzz meets by the COP in Tomorrowland.

Wow! just got back from work and seen all the helpful responses. You guys are wonderful! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the schedule.
I know we always see Hook and Smee when we are there. They're usually outside the shop there at the end of the PotC ride. lol...them and chip n dale are the ones I always see.
Thanks for the cuteness comment...he is a bundle of cuteness and a bundle of fury all rolled into one. His Grandma and auntie just left for WDW on Monday and he was trying to find his sandels so he could go with them.
Everyday, several times a day, he asks if we can go to DisneyWorld...I have to keep telling him "Soon" and "In Nov." :goodvibes
