Finding the characters in the MK

Is there one main place you can go to in the MK where they can tell you where every character who is going to be out that day (with times) will be?
I thought I read somewhere (in the 5 books I've read "studying" for this trip!) that City Hall on Main Street may have character information. Although I like happening upon characters, we have some that we have never met and I thought it would be fun to search them out for autographs. Thanks.

it's a bit more mundane than that. specifically, there's a number called the CHIP line that every CM that has access to a phone has access to that can give park-specific information for a character that day.
