I'm going to Disneyland this coming Sat - Wed (after the holiday week) and my DD is obsessed with Princess Tiana.

For those of you who have visited in February, where did you see her?

Thanks in advance for any tips you can share!

The Meet & Greet with Tiana and Naveen at New Orleans Square is closed meanwhile. As far as I recall it was said that Tiana would move to Princess Fantasy Faire.

I also heard Tiana is in Princess Fantasy Faire.

Check the schedule--there might be a mini-show with Tiana and a few dancers and a band in New Orleans Square, where she will sing several songs from the film. At the end, if your DD is close to the action, she may be chosen to play some tambourines while Tiana sings. (If she doesn't like that, then keep her back and/or make sure that the dancers do NOT give her a tambourine. Or be prepared to play it for her, as I saw some parental figures do. :) )

It's definitely no Showboat Jubilee (a much more elaborate show they ran last fall/early winter), but if your DD loves Tiana, that's a place to SEE her, pretty much guaranteed. I do not think it is any sort of meet and greet, though--in one video I saw, a couple girls ran up to Tiana after the show and got little more than a "hi". I get the feeling Tiana just wasn't allowed to stay and greet.

Though I also read somewhere that there was a rainy day where she came out and instead of doing a show she DID have a meet and greet, so you might get lucky. I would make sure your DD doesn't expect to be able to actually MEET Tiana at the show in New Orleans Square, though, to avoid disappointment. (After all, Tiana is a very busy woman and has to get back to her restaurant! ) Then if you happen to be able to talk to her there then it's a bonus, but not something she thinks will happen.

Good luck!

Go to City Hall on MS and ask the CMs there where you can find Tiana. They will let you know where and when she is expected.

Currently we have seen her, minus her prince on the mardi gras stage next to the French Market no meetngreet there. But she sings and they have a little show. She is also at the PFF :goodvibes for meetngreet

Thanks everyone - I'll definately check for that little show in New Orleans. She will be happy to see her sing and dance, the meet and greet isn't as important to her.

We're going to the Ariel's Grotto Dinner one night ... maybe she'll turn up there? I know, no guarantees on which princesses will be there, but my fingers are crossed.

One more question ... I would assume Ariel is always at her Grotto ... but is that a wrong assumption?

We saw Princess Tiana at the Princess Fantasy Faire on Feb. 11. My daughter was SOOO excited and it was well worth the wait! We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto the day before, but did not see her there. I hope you find her...she was awesome with my daughter!

No, Ariel is always there. She's greeting everyone once you come down the stairs at the usual picture spot they offer. She's not walking around from table to table though.

Just got off the phone with Disney Dining ... learned that Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras show is at 12:30pm in New Orleans square. He told me to book a 11:50am reservation for Cafe Orleans and ask to sit outside and the princess will walk right past us!

:)

That sounds lovely! Great way to kill two birds with one stone (see a princess AND have a delicious meal!). The restaurant reminds me a bit of the film, as they have gumbo and beignets.

To follow up ... the little show is listed in the daily program guide and repeats a number of times each day. Very cute, very small crowd, and has some limited interaction with little (under 8) kids. Get there 5 minutes early and stand at the foot of the steps, and your kid will be front row center.

Also, from Cafe Orleans, the view wasn't quite as good as I had hoped. But, they do walk right past the diners.

I'm sorry Cafe Orleans didn't offer much of a view. :( Sounds like your DD was able to see Tiana, though? Hope you had a great trip and thank you for the update!

DD was thrilled, as we caught the show earlier in the day and she stood front-row center. Was a bit shy, but loved it!

I took a picture with her at the same place as well like 2 weeks ago
