:teeth: I would assume this is the wrong place to put this message, but didn't know where else it fit! We saw the Finding Nemo movie tonight, and can I just tell ya it was soooo good! I cried and laughed, through it all. An all time Disney classic! I say it's about time! Although Iloved Monsters Inc. It wasn't the "classics" that the whole family will love and "learn" from, like this Nemo movie is.
Side note, Disney is putting out like 3 movies this year! The bear one, lost the name, looks also precious! Think it said it will be released in November. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I'm taking my 3 kids and my niece and nephew to see this tomorrow evening (or rather THIS evening LOL) -and I know they are going to love it! Can't wait for it to come out on video so we can watch it a bazillion times at home.... like all our other Disney movies. LOL

yeah, i saw it last night. It was really good, sadly, me and my four 16 year old friends went to see it. But i definitely recommend it for everyone, it was actually pretty funny too.

What's sad about that? I'm almost 34yrs old and while I probably wouldn't go the movies to see it if I didn't have children- I'd probably buy it when it came out on video. LOL Most of the time I enjoy the Disney movies as much as my children do! :)

My 5 yr old and I just saw this today and I enjoyed it but didn't have as many laughs as Monsters, Inc - for me or him. I must be the only person on the planet that enjoyed Treasure Planet more than this move! The theater was certainly crowded - the 1st theater we went to was sold out and we drove to another!

My family and I went and saw it today and it was wonderful! Definitely a Disney classic! My kids are 4 and 8 and they couldn't take their eyes off it! Way to go Disney!:smooth:

Yeah- even though we live in a small town and our movie theatre is usually like a ghost-town (LOL) last night they were sold out- and then today they were sold out of every showing until 7:15pm (and that was at 3:30pm). So I bought the tickets ahead of time (since we weren't able to get tickets for 4:15pm showing) and that's when we saw it. It was packed- barely found seats for myself and my kids- and couldn't sit with my sister and her kids as planned (but there were some open seats- just everyone sitting with one or two seats between them and other people. *sigh*)

Kids loved it, I enjoyed it, and my 2yr old was an ANGEL throughout the whole show. That gets a big thumbs up from me- seeing as how she usually doesn't do that unless she's totally enthralled with every second of the movie. Short attention span if you know what I mean (not the type of child that can sit and watch tv for any length of time- not even Disney tapes usually!)

It did kinda start out sad... I was bummed for awhile after that beginning. But I think what happened flew RIGHT over my kids' heads. LOL All they can talk about now is something I can't say because it might ruin it for others! Okay let's see a hint without giving anything away- you'll know what my kids were doing and laughing about until they finally fell asleep- whenever you get to the point that SOMEONE is trying to "talk" a different "language".
Okay? :)

WARNING ~ Plot Spoiler!!!

As to the sad beginning, why must Disney include an "orphaning" scene in every single movie?! I know it's a great plot line for drama, but you'd think they could be more creative! This drives me crazy!
Other than the beginning, I thought it was really cute and funny.

Forgot to add, that make sure you stay till the end, for the credits. A lot of people walk out right away, and then you miss some of the "ending". Although you may have to pick up your feet, for the guys, to start cleaning up! LOL I know we did!

We saw it Saturday and LOVED it!! Ellen DeGeneres as Dory was fantastic! Our 3 y/o dd also sat through the entire movie completely mesmerized(although the opening scene did make her a little sad). Definitely stay through the credits--everyone jumped up and ran out except for our family and another couple--what a hoot!!

Okay now that things have already been said- safe for me to talk about it. LOL
I didn't know Ellen was a voice in this show until we saw it and Dory (was that her name? I thought it was darla or something LOL) WAS hilarious. Everyone (including myself and I rarely really laugh outloud even if I'm laughing on the inside or find something funny) was laughing out loud! I think my kids find that their favorite character of the show!

My youngest (2) was also mesmorized- and also was soooo sad at the beginning. Even though they didn't show it- she still figured it out. She got sad at a lot of parts of the show- but she still liked it overall. :)

ps. they are STILL mimicking Dory talking the whale language. LOL

We saw Finding Nemo Sat. night. It was hilarious! I seldom laugh out loud in a theater. But Dory was so funny. The hubby and the ds loved it also.

We just saw it last night and thought it was fantastic!!

My son also got sad in the beginning, and I too questioned why do these movies always have to have one or both parents die. But in this case it does explain why the father is so over-protective of Nemo.

Dory was a hoot - I love Ellen DeGeneres! :)
