How long should we expect the wait for this ride to be in the middle of May on a Saturday night?

Unless you wait until the final half-hour or so the wait will be 60-90 minutes, if not a bit longer. Wait until the last 20 minutes of park closing and get in line, it will go much faster then.

Its a fun ride, but if that is the only time you can do it, you may be able to better spend your time better elsewhere.

I would strongly agree with this. However I might also add that the line shortens during parades and fireworks.

We stood in line last Sat. night during the second parade and waited about an hour.

Honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the ride.

The first part is pretty much like the old submarine ride and the Nemo parts, while well done, just go by too fast. Almost as soon as a scene comes by and you start looking at it, it's gone.

I won't do it again - once was enough. I feel bad for people who waited for hours to see it when it first opened unless they really loved it. I'd rather wait in line for Screamin' or Space Mountain or something.

They have basically the same ride at WDW...(epcot)....except no submarine. You sit in a clam shell. And there are actual fish too because it's in the aquarium. I think I liked that one better even though the subs are neat. But yeah...we waited about an hour for it one morning. That was enough for us.

We used an EE day for it the first week it opened last year. We only waited 20 minutes and was on the first sub out. I'm glad we did it that way. I just couldn't believe people were waiting 3-4 hours to ride that! It was cute, don't get me wrong. But no ride is worth 3-4 hours, but especially that one!

Even now that the lines are down to 60-90 minutes I still wouldn't want to wait that long. I'd either try to rush and do it first thing, or at the end of the night as others suggested.

I didnt like Nemo so much. They didnt make the entrances big enough. I am pretty tall and I bumped my head and knocked my knees a few times. And it kinda freaked me out to be sticking my face in a window that a bajillion other people have had thier sweaty faces in lol. eeewwwww gross! So, if you go to Dland and are going on NEMO bring some handy wipes. I think its a kids ride. I just dont understand all the hub bub, it was kinda boring. thats just me though.

I thought the same thing. The Nemo ride in DLR was a bit cooler for me because of the submarines but it wasn't worth the 45 minute wait I had the morning I went. If I did it again I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes or so.

My limit to wait for ANY ride is about 20 minutes. I despise lines and would rather skip a ride than wait in one. We are going to do Nemo on an EE morning at rope drop. I hate to sacrifice a Peter Pan opportunity but my girls adore Nemo and so I'm sure they will love the ride. This will be our first time seeing it.

He designed the Submarine Voyage vehicles in the 1950s. You can send him a letter and inform him that his design of a one-of-a-kind submarine ride for Disneyland is faulty because you are unable to watch your head.

Maybe he can modify the subs so that jets of hand sanitizer are sprayed all over the interior after every run so those sweaty faces aren't a problem anymore.

i go on sundays i been on this ride 2 times now and both times i only waited about 30 mins wasnt too bad once when the park frist open that day and twice the next weekend in the afternoonish about 3 weeks ago its diffently a lot shorter when it frist open!!!

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with some of the others who probably looked like this guy after riding the first time. --> We managed to get on pretty quickly after racing over there right after rope drop on an EE day in October (we were right near the rope.) IMHO, I don't think the ride is worth anything over a 10 minute wait. Unless your kids absolutely adore Nemo, I would skip it altogether and spend the time waiting for the classic rides that you know you love.
