My 2 yo is currently obsessed with Nemo... I was just going to do Nemo in Epcot.. but I feel guilty about not including the AK Nemo show...is it good for a toddler?? I heard it is 40 min long??? Please help me decide! He sits thru the entire movie and doesn't make a sound!

2. I heard it is 40 min long??? Please help me decide!
3. He sits thru the entire movie and doesn't make a sound!

1. It's a shortened version of the movie with actors onstage singing and performing as they control large puppet versions of the characters.
The songs are very nice. (Written by the composers of the songs in "Frozen.")
2. Correct.
3. Sounds like 40 minutes would not be a problem, but YOU know him better than anyone.

I suggest that you go to youtube and/or iTunes and check out some of the songs.

Will do!! Thank you!!!

I didn’t like it, the puppets seemed very dumb to me and it was boring at many points. I think a very young kid would like it though, so I would at least give it a shot. Also, I wouldn’t do It’s Tough to be A Bug for a kid, but, The Lion King is an amazing show! Highly recommend! Never seen Rivers of Light though so I can never say that.

We are def doing the boneyard, lion king.. kilimanjaro.. and we have tusker house for dinner.. just wondering if we should head to the park an hour before planned to do nemo...

We went to this when my DD & DS were younger, and it is really long. I found it boring (and I really love just about everything in the parks) I personally would not come an hour earlier to see it (but then again if my DS were obsessed with it, i might :-)

Love this show. Even more than lion king although im aware im in the minority and that LK is clearly the crowd pleaser.

I suspect for a 2yo it may be a bit slow. But gotta say. Hard to watch finding nemo the movie after the show. The songs are so good.

If he loves the movie id say give it a try.

Thanks for all the input.. I think we are going to give it a shot... is it easy to sneak out during the show if it isnt for him????

we absolutely LOVE the nemo show... themovie has no music, but this musical is perfect for the show. I would NOT miss it!!! we are 2 adults. .. no kids.. we love it

We just saw it last week with my 3 year old and 14month old-they both sat through it and enjoyed it! My three year old was asking to see it again! You could get up and leave midshow if you have to-a few families around us did with their crying kids/needed to use restroom. I would give it a try!

If Nemo is his favorite then this show would be great for him! As another PP said, watch a YouTube video of it so you get an idea of what it's like, and would have a better idea of whether he would enjoy it. Sounds like he would!

My nearly 2 yo made it almost to the end. With one minute left to go he was restless. He also does not sit through a movie/ tv show. We seated ourselves by the exit in case we needed a quick getaway and luckily did not need one.
It’s a very cute show! I still have the song stuck in my head a day later.

My strategy for any show is to ask a CM how to make a quick exit and they’re more than happy to show me which door to run for. I had to run out of Lion King and the Tiki room and it was easy to make a quick getaway.
For Muppet Vision/ Philharmagic/ Hall of Presidents/ Nemo/ Lion King it wasn’t too hard to get an aisle seat by the exit.

Smart!!! I'm sure they are used to it too!!! Thanks for the advice!

My DD (7) and I love the Finding Nemo show! She didn't like the Lion King show at all (not my favorite, either). In fact, when she was younger, it scared her. We love Nemo, though and see it every trip.

I agree that you should give it a try, @sapphirerose915! You can ask a CM before the show begins to help you with where would be easiest to sit if you think you might need get to get up mid-show. I used to do this when my DD was younger. Hope you enjoy it! It's a really fun show!!
