Finding Nemo Submarines Soft Opening

I would like to hear some opinions on when the Finding Nemo Submarines may begin their soft openings.

I have seen this ride is scheduled to open this summer. However, other new rides will have soft openings prior to the official opens. I would love to see this ride start soft openings in two weeks when my family visits. We were lucky enough to ride the Buzz lightyear ride in March 2005 before it officially opened.

Even if the opening date slips a week or two, the ride will still be opening sometime this summer and TDA planners are focusing their energy like a laser beam to ensure the opening and subsequent daily operation go as smoothly as possible once the voyages begin. Unlike recent new attractions at Disneyland, there will be very little time for extensive "soft openings" in the weeks before the grand opening. As it stands now, there may only be one or two days of soft opens before the press descend for the grand opening ceremonies currently scheduled for June 10th and 11th.

My DD works on Buzz Lightyear. She told me today that the CM training to work on the Subs has been delayed. It was supposed to start this week and did not. She has not heard of any delays in the opening though (which is good ). I know they are working hard on making the date of June 11th. That said, I would think there will be some soft openings. But my opinion is it will be close to the opening and not very often. If DD knows more as the time comes closer, I will post. I am anxious to ride it, too!

Yep, I am hoping for some soft openings the week before when we are there! March 8, 2005 was the real opening of Buzz so even if you hit the soft ones that we did, it still was within 2 weeks of actual opening!!

Sorry but I doubt you will get on in two weeks, I would think it will be more around the end of May!! It's a great reason to plan another trip soon though!

How cool is that your daughter works at Buzz. When we go to DL for the first time in 2 weeks we will have to give all the Buzz CMs an extra big smile.
