Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

But driving in a car doesn't induce a panic attack? Driving in a car terrifies me so much I moved to a place where I don't have drive that much.

I mean, each person has their own thing, right? I also have issues with ferris wheels, but I've been skydiving with no problem. I never said it was rational 😆

Btw, loving all the new emojis!

How much space do you have for your legs? My hubs is 6'3" with boney knees. Will he be squished? I am pooh sized and see that I can ask for an extra seat for comfort for myself and my bench mates. Could he sit at an angle to get more leg/foot room?

I would love to go on the sub, but would do the observation room if he is going to be uncomfortable for 20 minutes.

If you both ask for 2 seats each, he will have plenty of room to angle his legs, and so will you! :)

My friend and I go and he's 6'4"ish and didn't have an issue getting onto the sub or sitting comfortably. If a guest has bad knees, though, it may be difficult to get down and up the stairs as it's very ladder-like.

I seem to be in the minority around here, but I personally love the Subs. It’s such a unique experience and one of the few dark rides in the park to tell a fairly complete story. I think I have such fond memories of riding the original as a kid that the nostalgia of it allows me to ignore the cramped seats and small portholes. I just stick my face in the porthole and enjoy it. Lol

The inclusion of Nemo for me is a good fit.
Count me in as another who enjoys this ride. I loved the original. I remember back in 96, it was the last ride I rode when I was there, and shortly after that it went away. Got to ride the Nemo version back in 2016 and I loved it again.

I think the best times #2 kid has ever had at disneyland was when we let him drive autopia. He's 5, and thinks it's hilarious that he can't drive in a straight line and is constantly riding that strip underneath.

Same here! I let my granddaughter 'drive' from the time she was 2 1/2 and she has always loved this ride. We both laugh so hard all the way through, with me telling her what a terrible driver she is, and her cracking up as she gives us both whiplash. She had to sit on her backpack to steer the first few trips we went on, but now she can finally reach the pedals (she's 11) and she still loves it just as much.

Totally aside from the claustrophobia issue, my newly four year old son was absolutely terrified by the views out the window of the subs last year on our trip, as was his three year old cousin. It can be pretty scary for little ones. He’s really excited about our upcoming trip in November, but he’s already said that he refuses to go on the subs and doesn’t want his little brother to go on them.

I'm a big fan of the subs too. I guess I'm a little nostalgic over it since I rode the original version of it with my family back in the late 60's. While they could install something great in its place, I hate to see any of Walts original creations go away.
