Just switched our reservation from POR one room, to two rooms at Pop to finally a suite at AofA;) Very excited to try a new resort and the suites look so fun. Trying to decide between the Cars and Nemo suites. We are requesting lakeview and it does look like Nemo would give more options. The Cars area looks the funnest, and the rooms seems a bit "muted" from Nemo, which isn't a bad thing. We will be driving to all parks except MK, so being close to a parking lot would be nice. I know either of them will be wonderful, just looking for some opinions.
Thanks!

I would pick CARS because -
- I think the interior of the suites are fun yet tasteful and given the age of your boys I think they will like them. The Cars master bedroom is more adult.
- The area/courtyard around Cars is awesome! You truly feel you have been thrown into Carsland. The quiet pool is done well with those cone cabanas and all, I think they got this one right in a huge way on theming!
- While lakeview is nice (I stay lakeview at POP often) remember that the suites are entered via interior hallways and you have mid wall windows, not balcony or full length window.
- Good location to main hub and parking. Quick walk to main pool area without being right on top of it.

We stayed in a cars suite unexpectedly in June. We booked a LM room but were upgraded at check in! We were so excited!! We were only there for one night as we were switching to AKV the next day but were more then pleased with the Cars section. The cars section did seem a little more quieter, which I liked, then the Nemo section since that is located closest to animation hall and the main pool.

I agree with other posts. CARS Suite/ Section seems like it's own resort, but still close to Animation Hall, Landscape of Flavors, & buses.

Also, Nemo area is where everyone goes too, appeared to be crowded at times. Memo section & LK where have movie night. Cars area has own pool too. To me CARS was closer than Memo due to more direct walk. We stayed in Luigi building.

Also, you can go pass baggage area/valet, which is right side of Animation Hall and avoid building/people traffic by taking direct path to front of building & parking lot. If park by CARS section, go to right of building where you see valet & walkway.

This is a really useful thread for me! We are planning a trip to AOA and I am really excited, but a little hesitant since we have been to the Poly so often. But since my kids are getting older, I want to squeeze as much Disney fun out of this trip as it may be our last with all three kids.

I would choose cars because the inside is very cool and exciting fun. Also it's in more of a secluded part of the resort.

We stayed in Finding Nemo and I would again when I have the money:) I love everything about that. Close to food court, pool and splash spouts and playground. I feel the Cars and Mermaid are a walk at the end of the day...

There is no comparing the Cars and Mermaid buildings. The first two cars buildings are the same distances at each point at the Nemo buildings. The farthest Cars building is no farther than the far end of Lion King Buildings. As soon as you exit the back of the main building and turn right you are in Carsland.

Agree. Didn't think about adding map to my post.

For the reason alone that you plan to drive, DEFINITELY Cars over Nemo. We stayed in Nemo, and every time we came back, I wished we had done Cars. Much closer to the parking lots. And I think the decor outside was way cuter and more calm than the chaos that always surrounded the pool outside of Nemo. Now, I liked Nemo, but if we stay in a suite again, I would most certainly choose cars!!

Another vote for the cars suites - Our family of 5 stayed there in June and loved being in that area. We were in building 1 and our location was very convenient to the food court and the parking area.

I love to see that your children are older like mine and actually fit in the beds and enjoyed the resort area! So excited!
