Finding Jungle Book characters...

Our dear friend who is going to WDW with us in a couple months is a HUUUUUGE Jungle book fan.

We absolutely MUST find Baloo, at very least, during our stay. I know I can find a CM and ask them where to find him, but we're trying to plan our park visits and itineraries now (and PSs).

Is there anywhere that he is more often seen than not?

I didn't see him anywhere when we were there last year, so I think this will be a bit of a challenge.

I've always been able to find Baloo on the character bus at Epcot.

I've seen King Louie once, he was at the MK in front of the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.

When/where is the character bus at Epcot?

I missed that our first time, I guess.

We saw a Christmas trolley with Santa Goofy, but no character bus that I can recall.

I've seen JB characters at Animal Kingdom

The character bus is a big red double decker bus that stops at a couple of different places in EPCOT at various times during the day. When you get there pick up one of the show times sheets and it will tell you where and what time the bus will be stopping. It's called Characters on Holiday or something like that. It usually stops out in front of Spaceship Earth and in world showcase plaza (I think that's what it's called), the area where future world ends and the WS begins.

Baloo is one of the most common characters that I've seen down in WDW. Adventureland almost always has him and King Louie at the Character CongOasis... in fact last time I was there I was trying to shop and no one was visiting Baloo so he followed me around the store a bit.

I think they can smell it on me... I am always singled out in a group... they must somehow know I'm cool with it and can take a joke.

Okay, so I'm not the " real" Baloo! I'm not a "him" either!

I've hung out with my bear buddy in the AK outisde the gates,I think it was in the morning.Sometimes he's at the Camp Minnie-Mickey character greeting.He's usually on the Characters on Holiday Bus in Epcot.It was stopped outside of Japan last time.In the MK he can be found in the Character CongOasis and Town Square Exhibition Hall.

You can go to Guest Relations when you get to the park in the morning.They'll be happy to help you out.They have numbers they can contact to see where everyone will be making appearances.

When you see Baloo tell him Baloo says Grrrrrrreetings!!!!!

Agreed....Baloo and King Louie are often on the African end of that pathway, along the side of the Tamu Tamu ice cream shop, just opposite the drums They also lead Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade
