Finding Availability at Popular Resorts

Hi All! Wondering if you have any tips for finding availability at popular resorts. I'd love to find a booking for Fort Wilderness in October but it appears impossible. Is there any way to get notifications somehow when availability pops up? Or are can travel agents keep an eye on this for you? Any ideas?

A good TA would keep an eye on this for you. I would just give them the dates or date range you are looking for and the go-ahead to book the reservation with your CC if anything becomes available. Otherwise, other than checking yourself every day or multiple times a day, there is no way to get notifications if something were to become available.

I will say I've seen repeatedly that as the 30 day mark approaches resort availability opens up. Packages have to be paid in full by the 30 day mark, so that tends to be when people cancel. But waiting until a month before so you can have what you want? Not ideal.
