Finding Autograph Books before WDW?

Can anyone tell me where I can find one before we get there? We are heading straight to MGM when we arrive and want to be sure my son can get Buzz's autograph if we catch him over there.

Are you flying in? I know there are disney stores at the MCO airport right when you get to the main terminal. I'm not sure if they have autograph books but they have a good selection of stuff so it might be worth checking out. Also all the resorts have them and once you get into MGM you'll hit a "street" of shops before getting too far into the park and should be able to find one there.

Not sure if it is an option for you but last time we went I made one for my niece from a small scrapbook. I used stickers to decorate the front and personalize it and wrapped it with a clear plastic to protect the cover. Just a thought - Good luck!

There are stands all over, and probably as soon as you walk into MGM. You should be able to get one as you enter.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to hit the craft stores and see if I find anything to use.

Is there anything special about the ones Disney sells? Anyone know how much they cost?

The one we picked up in October was blue with Mickey and gang on the cover. I know it cost under $10, with buying a pen too.

We bought one on ebay before we left. I would recommend getting one before you go so you can catch those characters that are at the gates. Otherwise, you have to find one, buy it, get back to the character and get in line. You wouldn't want to take the chance of missing your favorite character.

We made our own the other night. Each child personalized it the way they wanted and it will give them something to chat about with each character. They turned out really cute!
Also got them into the spirit of Disney!

We found a spiral bound 5X7 scrapbook at michaels $7.99 and since we had plenty of time figured I'd go back when i had one of their 40% off coupons. But I found one virtually Identical at walmart for $3.99. at Walmart they had them in blue and white.

I take it they would be available at DTD? We are probably going to visit DTD on the day of our arrival, before we hit any parks.

They should probably sell these in the resorts as well (if they don't already). Easy way to make a quick buck ... or two ...

We are leaving for Disney tomorrow. I bought one today for my 9 year old daughter at the dollar store, and it came with a pen. The pen attaches to the book. It is just the right size, and soft sided. It is not Disney, but very nice, and they have lots of styles and colors to choose from. When we got home, my daughter decorated the pages and the cover with Disney stickers that we got free in the mail. she put a different disney sticker charecter on each page, and she hopes to get all the pages filled with autographs. I thought it was very nice for only $1!

While at the Dollar store I also picked up:

4 rain ponchos(they were 2 for $1)
A draw sting laundry bag
A nice small square box filled with 12 plastic bags, the size of plastic grocery bags
A pack of insect repellent wipes
A bottle of number 30 sunblock
sunglass (string type)holders they were 2 for $1
A nylon sling type backpack, with pockets
A cloth sling type backpack, these are medium size, big enough for the camera, wallet, water bottles suntan lotion
snacks for the airplane ride
chewing gum for the airplane ride
