Find walking Distance within one location

I am looking for a site that will allow me to find the walking distance within one location preferably using a map.

What I would like to do is to place a point on a map (ie Epcot) and then put another point somewhere else on the same map to find out how far it is between the two points.

Does anyone know of a website that will allow me to do this?

You can do that with google maps.

If you're being really specific about a route, I like mapmyrun.com. You have to choose the option to avoid roads, if you are walking along sidewalks or inside of WDW (for example), so be careful to do that.

Make sure you click the walking guy instead of the car.

Unfortunately, the Google walking guy won't work to show what the distance is between the Swan and the International Gateway since there are no roads/paths listed only photos. Probably it will work outside of the parks but not within them to my knowledge (which isn't very much about calculating distance)

Here is a path from Ellen's Universe of Energy, to the American Pavilion, though the IG to I think the Swan or Dolphin. Its 1.8 miles.

It does stop right at the "D", also if you go from say DHS to the IG its not going to cut through what ever lobby you go through to make a shorter walk.

In Google Earth you can create any measured path you want.

Just like regular Google directions but pick the walking guy instead of a car.

When I was just messing around with it I think that even knows the difference between the guest areas and back stage areas.

Use google earth instead of google maps. There's a path tool - the icon looks like a ruler.
