Guess what? Helping Snow out backfired for me.
School is cancelled for tomorrow.
I have to sleep naked from now on.
I only like a delay, not a cancellation!

You lucky ducky...I'm envious...then again we don't have to make up our snow days...now you have a 4 day weekend

I had four absent today
and one child was absolutely wacko

the one whose mom wants a daily report was pretty good
he worked hard in the morning (all hour of it before lunch)
and he only called someone the "B" word at lunch

no, I am not sure what the B word was
or even if it should be classified "bad"
but I had a chat with him anyway
about making good decisions


wacko boy was obviously not on his ADHD med
he was rolling around on the floor first thing
making strange animal like sounds during the quiz
stood the entire lunch period (couldn't sit, not as punishment, he just couldn't sit, still or figity, he was standing)

Well, the kids do
we have inservice on Monday

my girls are going on the youth winter retreat Friday through Sunday noon
and then DD9 is going to a lock in at another church for Sunday night
she is quite the socialite

Well...we are allowed 5 snow days a year...after that we have to make them up.


Not too sure how the was40 kids would feel about you sleeping in the buff

they do tend to drop in unexpectedly
in the middle of the night
if they are feeling sick or something

and DD9 is such an early bird
she is always up before the roosters
and me
I like to sleep in if I get a chance

it probably wouldn't work out so well

That surprised me, too. Our schools always had to make up snow days.

Yes, I would recommend some sleepwear, especially when there are other inhabitants in the home!

after i checked in this morning
and did a few chores
we left for the busstop as usual

but my little passenger
that I pick up
was running late
didn't have her bookbag packed

and so we were quite late
i had to slip slide around the bend
fairly fast to make it before the bus left
without Dd and her

After those two were on the bus
I stopped to get the rest of DS's prescription
since they didnt' have the full amount last week

and they couldn't find it





but then they finally did
making me a teensy bit late for work


though I wouldn't have even been able to stop without the delay
the store doesn't open that early

And then it was a bit crazy at school
all the excited students
excited for the delay


and I didn't have computer
