Why does the find all posts option not work? I'd like to use this for myself to find some of the posts that I have done. Whenever I click on it, it says none can be found.

I haven't been able to use the Find All Posts function for a while.

If I want to find posts I have made, I go to "User CP" towards the top of the page, open it, and then select "List Subscriptions" from the column to the left. When the subscriptions opens, if there are a lot, you can go to "View All Subscribed Threads" located over the list, click on it, and all threads where you have posted will show up.

When you open up the thread you will still have to find your post.

This might take a few more steps, but its a sure way to find something you posted.

They dont (for whatever silly reason) use the default search that vbulletin has. They use something called boardtracker. Therefore a lot of the search features that work very well, wont work here. I would love to hear a reason they have it set up like this.

I have changed my subscriptions so I don't subscribe to every thread I have posted to. (So I can only keep the ones that are most important) Therefore, I can't search by subscriptions. If this is something that doesn't work for anyone, why are we keeping it?

Usually when you click "User CP" the most recent subscriptions pop up automatically, and you can "List All" by clicking the link at the bottom of the subscription list.

If you select the little blue box/check next to the thread title, it should take you back to your last post, or the last post you read.

Rumor has it;) that you can use most, if not all, of the search functions if you go to the bottom left of your screen, find the drop down menu that probably says "Default", and select "California Gold." You *should* be able to use the "find posts by user" feature.

There are rumors as to why the default search feature was disabled, but I don't know the true reason.
