while I probably would limit extra spending (like arcades which is throwing money away in my book anyway--that doesn't stop DH and DD from threowing it though. ), I'd just becareful with my money while there. Go, have fun, cast your cares away. They will be here when you get back!! Life is short. I wish you all the best.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your good wishes. DH spoke to his boss. There is a little work for the foreman but not for everyone else. DH had to lay off his entire crew which was hard for him because he knows the position they will be in financially. Though there maybe some time DH won't work it wont hurt us since he have money saved.

I feel for all out there that's affected by the recession. Let's hope soon it will get better!

Good for you for choosing to go. Enjoy the time with your family. You have saved for it, you have earned it. You have enough resources to last you a while. Enjoy the time with your family. This recession will pass and we will get through it. Enjoy the time with your family.

Granted we all have needs. But I think the most important need is our family. Enjoy the gift of your family.

I think you should go! Almost everything is paid for, so it would be a waste of money to stay home!
