finally

No, you still need to buy park tickets. Just saw your ticker by the way- your holiday is so close, I bet you're excited! :goodvibes

Thanks for clearing that up, i was beginning to think i had wasted money on tickets when all i needed to stay was book a nights stay.
Yes it's not long now, we are all very excited. Still no tickets from WDW UK(openride) yet though. :headache:

Oh no, that's rubbish. They're a bit useless in some ways, e.g. sending invoices late and whatnot, so this doesn't really surprise me. If you haven't called them already, do so ASAP!

I have read of lots of people staying at a universal hotel for 1 night so they could get FOTL passes for 2 days so I have been checking prices for the last couple of months and I ended up booking last night after finding 1 night at Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort for just under £100 which seemed quite a bit cheaper than the other quotes I have had.

Damn I can't seem to get it for under £140 (ish) which is pushing it past the 'worth it factor.'

Can't understand how it could rise so much in a couple of days :( :confused3

Sorry to be a tight bum but is there anymore Hotel.com discount codes floating about or does anyone know how to get one? Many thanks.

Nothing tight about using discount codes, they issue them to use.
Try AFG10VCJ, or post hotel you are looking for, dates you want it and best price you have found, will have a look if any better deals are around.

I think that was a one off, they doubled the discount. Some managed to get this deal as well as the Business class flights for around £400-465pp I posted. A bargain trip for some this year:thumbsup2

Yeah we got the deal from netflights too! 7 nights at the PBH for £378!!! Thats only £54 per night! Still pinching myself!!! :goodvibes

I got booked up for the one mentioned in the first post. About £133 all done. Looking forward to it. Still not sure about the 2nd days FOTL pass hehe.

Do you still think it is okay to check out of the hotel after breakfast and still keep hold of the 'keys' to use as FOTL passes? Second day we were planning on using the Hotel for breakfast then checking out and putting our stuff in the car in time for the parks opening then using the 'keys' for FOTL passes till evening then going back to get our car and driving off to our other hotel. (Hopefully we can leave the car there...)

I assume the Universal "keys" are a card same as Disney, if thats the case you don't hand them back you keep them, we have an envelope full of Disney KTTW cards and cruise key cards.
When you check out of a Disney hotel your KTTW card is still valid until midnght for DDP and until your park passes expire.

Awww that makes perfect sense yes. Another worry ticked off the list. Hope they do not mind me leaving the car in the Hotel car park till we are done then hehe.

Thanks for you help. :worship:

Trouty, it's fine to use your FOTL passes on the day you check out.

I booked directly with Universal last week (23rd) and I still haven't received my email confirmation yet. I did print the initial confirmation when I booked the room plus DBF's account has been debited so, while everything looks fine, I'd just like to have the official copy! Annoyingly, the bit where you retrieve your reservation on the website appears to be down.

I remember waiting for a while when I booked RPR last year but I don't think it was this long. The reservation is for the Hard Rock Hotel, if that makes any difference...
