I am happy to report that summer has finally arrived on the brown side of Washington...finally a 95 degree day! Yippee!!

Why do you rate Lil Mermaid as underwhelming? Just wondering. Love the pic of HM and the people waiting. 85 would be such a welcome here in KC. It has been 100 degrees for over a week. Today was 106 in the shade. I'm not kidding.

Back from Club 33, the best meal ever any where in the parks. My steak melted like butter in my mouth, the family said the chicken and salmon were the best they have ever tasted and we have eaten in some very fancy places. Service was over the top and I did not ask my wife what the souvenier(sp) bill was. We are blessed to have a friend that allows us to do this.

Back to the parks, everyone have a great evening and someone wantedme to take a photo for them but I did not understand, so if I can find out I would be glad to.

I'm a bit unpleasantly surprised at your photos of the crowds around the parks. I was there two weeks ago with my mom on a Weds and Thurs and found the crowds to be pretty low - less than on my spring break trips. Now I see your pictures and I'm sort of worried about my trip in two weeks with my sister. I wouldn't have imagined such a jump in crowds from July 20 to Aug. 1!

I really did not really expect the early crowds like the last two days, maybe evryone is trying to escape the later day heat. I really do not have a clue. They are lightening back up mid afternoon. Anywhere there are construction wall it seems busier. Even MWoD was packed at 1000 this AM both sides, always love that ride. Have fun when you go, you are so lucky to live so close.

Mike, I really can not tell you why. We have ridden it twice and we come off just trying to figure out what is missing. And as always the Grand Villas are just amazing.

cold, huh? that caught my attention, because we just did one
of the dcl alaska cruises prior,& was freezing in vancouver. we
couldn't wait to fly out of there. the shocker was- "it" was
worst. we froze until the bus came.

wow- your crowds are heavier than ours.


we are dvc owners. we stayed @ grand california. just a std.
room. however, it was in the prefect location. [ wish i had our
pictures so i know what to request in the future. ] what we
liked most were coming back for the afternoon naps.
