Glad you made it home safely! Thank you so much for the insight and vicarious touring. I love the pics, especially of BTMRR -- I think that is the best photo of the ride I have ever seen. Amazing!

To many drunks at Elctronica,(I used to be a champion drinker." but I do not think alcohol needs to be out in the open and it seems to me like it is an open groping party.

I totally agree and found the same thing when we visited in July. I think they should do away with this all together! Definately NOT the Disney feel I was going for when I took my young boys there. I really do think Disney needs to take a closer look at what is actually going on there. When we walked through one night, after riding Monsters Inc. The police were there with a couple of young, very drunk teenagers. Not appropriate at all. I am glad someone else saw this aspect of this area as well, I thought that maybe it was just me! Well thats my rant!!

I'll second everyone else with a big "THANK YOU" for sharing your trip with all of us. So glad I read through this thread, am heading to "the Land" for the first time next week and had resisted any sort of plan, am now putting together a strategy to get there early and use FP to the fullest!

You are welcome, some people like to do no planning and then come back missing many things sometimes due to timing. It works for some but not us. Even though I do not consider Disney expensive considering all the attracctions, I like to make sure I get things done with out killing my self.

Need any advice, PM me many folks do. Have a great time. Everyone here has great advice and please read the stickies.

Jack did you finally get to see WOC on Friday like you planned? How did you and your family like it?

Sorry Trey I have been trying to avoid the answer. I do like be negative about attending the WOC. The family thought it was excellent, I on the other hand had a small accident. We were leaving to stand in line when my daughter accidently closed one of the heavy villa doors on my left hand and fractured my pinky where the digit above the knuckle was pointing about 30 degrees to the left, i repositioned the finger where it was straight and taped it so it would stay that way. Went down to join the family but it was throbbing so much I had to go back to the room and take some pain meds....so again I missed WOC. Going to have it xrayed today to see if I positioned it correctly. I have broken this finger twice before..i guess I am a clutz.

Jack, you appear to be snake bit on WOC! I know you do more dangerous things in life but, wow, Disney parks seem like a dangerous place for you and your family.

Really sorry. If it had to happen I am glad to hear it was at the end of the trip and not the beginning...

Sorry to hear about your finger ouch

Well I came here to say thank you for all your post while at the park. We went on thurs. while you were there. We were prepared for large crowds but we had a good day. We left he park and had lunch in Down town Disney. I felt the crowds were manageable but we went prepared for the worse after seeing your picture of Haunted Mansion line (the only time I have seen it that long was at Halloween) Our main plan was get to do star tours and little mermaid and we were able to do both.
