Bought our return flight MCO-BUF about 2 months ago for a decent price(I think it was $120). Got the evening direct flight and have been happy with that.

Have been waiting and waiting for my flight there to be decent. Thought for sure the birthday sale would do it - but everything starts after our date (we need it for 8/18 or 8/19). I really want to be there before noon on the 19th...The best times for Southwest for that are $250 - for one way! I usually pay that for r/t.

So I even looked at Amtrak...But they don't have a train on the day we need.

I checked Kayak...and the first flight that popped up was Delta - good times - we get in at 10:30am and it was only $140. Not quite what I had hoped for - but with the other flight prices I see out there, I'll take it.

So now at least we're booked and ready to go!

I haven't paid this much for a flight to MCO in years! Not sure if it's the dates I picked or what.
