In my mind, part of the fun of our Disneyland trip is the anticipation...so I don't make the trip be a TOTAL surprise--however since I start planning a year (or more) in advance, I don't tell the children about things that far ahead of time. This is our third trip to Disneyland and each time I've told them about our trip in a different way (and yes, the details are all me--my husband leaves ALL trip planning completely up to me).

This weekend I went out to run a few errands and came home with a big box. Whatever could be inside?

A big balloon for each of you! (weighted down with a Mickey Pez dispenser...just in case!) Gosh, why would you be getting Mickey and Minnie balloons?

Yes, my little guy was very happy! (this was him giving his balloon an unscripted kiss)

Yay! How exciting. Now you have partners-in-planning. And I love the pic with your daughter's feet off the ground.
