Well with the Harry Potter films anyways.
There's rumors floating around that Steven Spielberg is filming the last movie (I've never actually seen a film by him, all I know is he's supposed to be legendary, and most of his films are).
AND
That they'll be splitting it in two. I fully support it. I really want a split film, so that they can actually make a movie that's a lot more true to the books. Obviously, it might be like the rest and be quite a bit different from the books, but there's a greater chance of a more true telling of the story if they split it up in two.

If Tim Burton did it, I know I would be fully creeped out. I feel like he would exaggerate the darkness and lose other important parts.

The books lost some of their witty humor at the end anyways, they don't need to be even more dark!

But I also agree that I think he would make them too dark and I don't feel he is right for the movie.
I believe that SS will do a very good job with it.

And nobody...can replace Alan...nobody!

I've never seen a Tim Burton film. I've seen what they look like, etc, but I just don't think he'd be good for Harry Potter.
The books are dark, but I think he'd take it in the wrong sense.

But does this mean that the 2 parts are going to come out at 2 different times? Or will they put both of them out at the same time? I just don't want to be left hanging in the middle of the movie!

Same here. Alan does such a good job. The looks and glares he casts at Harry are just perfect! Also if they split it up into two I think it'd be good. It would be especially good if they did that, because every single sentence in DH is super duper important and will tie it all up. Can't wait for HBP and then DH.

I think they'll put 'em out at different times if they do. That's usually how it goes. But hopefully they won't leave us too hanging. Like in the middle of a sentence or something.

If Tim Burton did it, it would be the only movie of Harry Potter I think I might enjoy lol. After the second Harry Potter movie I just stopped watching them...wasn't really a huge fan. I LOVE the books though. Read all 7 and each the moment after they were released lol. I'm not a huge HP "fanatic" though, I don't own any HP items or anything like that, haha. I just enjoyed reading the novels.

However, I digress, lol. Tim Burton is my favorite director so naturally I would love it if he took on this project, lol. If he did, you just KNOW Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter will be in it. lol.
