:cool1: First I have to say that this trip was fabulous, yes we had some bumps along the road to having a special trip but it was so wonderful I can't wait to go back!!

A little history of us.....me (am 40) and my first trip to DW was last March for my 40th.
DH....(37) his first trip was the trip in March, so we were both Disney virgins....lol

We got married 8 years ago this coming Feb. and 3 days before the wedding, DH was laid off and we had to take our vacation $ and savings to live for a while. Took us quite a few years to build back up and since we had a quick little trip for my Bday, DH thought he would give me a real honeymoon back to the world. :lovestruc He is a sweetie!!

Arrived at POP Century, I know not the most romantic of places but we love it and romance is what you make of it, not where. ;)
We spent the first day relaxing a bit, soaking up the atmosphere and the smells....nothing like that "Disney" smell....if any of you know what I mean.
I have a seperate report of all our adrs over in the review board so I won't mention to much of them here.....but we ate very well. (got to love FD)

MK was our first park. I love being there, I must've took 30 pics of that castle (just that day)... We rode Jungle Cruise for the first time. I cried.......I can remember that was the ride I desperately wanted to ride as a child growing up. I had a view finder with pictures of DW and the Jungle Cruise was 2 shots, one of them the little elephant that squirts water. LOL So when I seen him I was 8 again and cried! I know but I am nostalgic and sentimental.
PotC was terrific, love the drop, it is quite unexpected. :scared1:
The Pooh ride is so child like, but I loved it, rode it twice! Nothing like being a kid again!
Space Mt. was of course fun. Much smoother this time. Last time I thought I left my lungs on the tracks.
Caruosal (sp) of Progress is still a fav. Walt was a genius! That man, wow is all I can say. Everywhere you look you see his genius, way ahead of his time. Just think what he could imagine in "this" day and age!!

Anyway back to my trip. Some other highlights were AK the next day. Love EE, but it is intense. Prime Evil Whirl is a fav too....don't know why but it is. And all I can say about Dinosar....love it and hate it at the same time. :rotfl2: That ride scares the crap out of me and I am an adult.....I can't imagine children on that ride. :lmao:
We got our picture with Thumper! How sweet. The character kept "thumping" his/her foot.....it made me squeel everytime.....again I am sentimental and lose my mind at DW.

Epcot is our unicorn. We can never see World Showcase. We get Future World done and try but something always happens. This time....a touch of food poisoning (I think). Right after lunch, DH got violently sick and me about 2 hours after. We spent the afternoon into the evening back in the hotel either in bed or bathroom.
On a high note Soarin' is the best. I love that ride, I wish they would do more movies but still it is great.

We spent another day at MK and followed up that night with DHS and the Osborn Lights. WOW fantastic but crazy. I was tired still a bit sick and the congestion of people at the lights was too much, I got cranky and had a "meltdown" as I called it. (you know like when the children meltdown)....:rotfl2:
I managed to pull it together enough to do RNRC.....holy cow!!! That ride is intense. Again I loved it and hated it. Will ride it again though, next time. lol

Our MVMCP on Friday the 4th was a complete mess but we had fun. It is definitely memorable. It rained all day, and didn't cease for the party. DH and I had on our custom made long sleeve t-shirts on and headed out with our ponchos. :umbrella:
We were so cute in our shirts (just so everyone knows, it was his idea not mine...I am finding out no one believes this, they think I made him wear matching clothes!!)
I have to say that only at DW would 2 grown adults sit in the rain on a bench for 45 mins, huddled together for warmth, letting the rain run off their bowed heads to see fireworks......just crazy........but that is Disney World....you lose your mind!!! :donald::mickeyjum

We had a great time. Laughed so hard on BMTR that I thought my cheeks were going to split open. Played in the rain with the one I love, ate like I was dying and couldn't get enough. Slept in, stayed up, skipped down the trail at the hotel. Danced to the Jackson's "Dancing Machine" song everytime I heard it. I would step out the hotel room and boogie down!
Sat by the pool with my Pina Colava once, refilled my "this trip" mug and laughed everytime I saw a "old" mug (thinking of all the mug threads here on the boards). And basically felt alive.....

We can't wait to go back. Not sure, hopefully next year, God willing I will make it to MNSSHP. Would love to see all the Halloween decorations.
Well that is our story, or what I thought might be interesting to other people. I hope you enjoy your trip, whenever it may be!!!! :tinker:
