The big party @ DL must be bringing in the crowds if this board is any indication. I can't believe how many posts there have been lately. For awhile, it seemed as though there were only a few new threads started each day. And so it begins...

I used to have a game where you had to ID the scene @ DL... I think I'll start that up again.

I love seeing more activity on the DL boards!

We went to DL in 2001 and I really thought it would be our one and only trip since we usually go to WDW, but we just can't let the 50th anniversary pass us by so we're planning on a late May visit!


I'd love to get in on the game, so I hope you get it started.

My company had a conference during the 100yr celebration. We ended up staying a week in WDW. Now, we just happen to be going to DL during the 50yr celebration. We didn't plan it - didn't even know about it. Hubby is from Redondo and we vist a couple of times each year but have never gone to DL.

It really surprises me that the DL board doesn't get more traffic. I mean, come on, it's Disneyland for goodness sake! It's the original Magic Kingdom, Walt's Park - in my mind, and I've never been there, it's hallowed ground.

And I can't wait to step on it.

Not a bad idea. We'll be there March 12-16 - not sure what 3 days of those 4 we'll be in the parks, we're planning one day of sightseeing in Southern CA.

We will be at a family reunion during the weekend of July 4th.. getting a 5 day pass.. not sure which days we will be at the parks..but we are in for a meet...

We're going March 12th-16th, too. Haven't been there since 2000. Lots of changes. We lived in So California for 6 years and used to go about 5-6 times a year. I like DL much better than the MK at WDW.
