Well with everything being so much in the air (if you read my other post) I am finally starting to get excited. If you didn't read my other post, we weren't sure if dh was able to go and my mom was having to leave early from our trip.
This trip we are taking next week is going to be the last one for a year and it has been full of stress because DH wasn't sure if he was going to have to work out of town and not be able to go and although my mom IS going she is going to have to leave early.
Well we decided rather than drive we are going to fly now and as of NOW anyway it looks like DH is going. Things could still change but for now at least everything is set. We found a rental car although we are using enterprise instead of Avis so this is new for us. I have always used Avis and I prefer them but they were REALLY expensive. They wanted almost 400 bucks for just 3 days for a mini van
So we found enterprise for 265 but we have to drop it at the Hilton and pay a drop fee but it was still cheaper. Hopefully that won't be a nightmare. But regardless whether dh goes or not I am there for the entire time and I am getting excited finally!!
I finally started packing and all I have left to do is arrange a shuttle for mom and for us to get back to the airport since we are only renting the car for the first part of the trip.
We leave a week from Saturday and I am really looking forward to it. I hope the weather is nice. My 10 day forecast doesn't go out that far yet but I am hoping it is nice!
