Finally-some rain today

We have finally got some rain (thunderstorms) today-

I hate cheering for rain when the NE is having problems that revolves around rain and flooding, but we need this SO BAD!!

We had just a quick storm move through about an hour ago, and I figured, Great, that's it, but it coming down again and harder. I just wish my DS10 would get home so I wouldn't worry about him.

Go ahead and cheer for the rain. My grandparents just got back from a winter in Florida, and they told us (while driving through flood waters) how badly Florida needed it. Believe me, if there was a way, we'd be sending some of this to all of you

It's still drizzling and you can hear thunder, but we see the sun trying to peak through. Glad it's coming out now and not before, that shoots up the humidity.

I will gladly send sunshine to everyone who needs some.........

It stormed all night, enough to wake us up throughout the night, but I'll take the lack of sleep for the rain it brought.

Yes!!! I'm thrilled to see it coming down here as well. With respects to our New England neighbors, I wasn't going to post about how wonderful it was to see rain but as long as you did.....

We're having a break right now but there's a bunch coming in off of the Gulf so we should get a good soaking.

My plants are going to be very happy.

I don't know if it's wishful thinking or not, but my yard even looks greener already. (Of course DS23 will be in for a mowing job soon). It's still over cast here and am hoping for some more showers, now that what we had last night had a bit of time to soak in.

No rain for me yesterday but today it is overcast so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We need it sooooo bad.
