Finally sent in our contract!!!!

ok thanks to everyone for all the advice ...we have signed all the papers crossed our T's and dotted the i's and we close "officially" on June 5th.
Booked our 1st trip and it's on the website with our points showing already and everything!!!! I guess it's OFFICIAL!

Congratulations...as I sit here wondering how you get your points and book your trip before you close . Just sent back my closing docs and a check, so I am waiting to close, myself.

Probably a direct purchase with Disney. When you purchase direct, you are in the system and can make a reservation as soon as you put down your deposit. If you purchase resale, you have to wait until Disney is notified that you have attained a contract, which would be much later in the process...

Ours was one of the 5 best days of my life:

1) Both days my children were born.
2) Wedding day.
3) Signing DVC paperwork/sending in!!!!
4) Getting my permanent DVC member card.
5) Every day I leave for a Walt Disney World trip!!!!

Hey monorail that is funny I agree with the list...same order here just waiting on my cards. I also got the confirmation letter today for our upcoming trip (using the developer points) HOOOOORAYYYY 80 more days 1st DVC trip at SSR. too excited I love you all !!!! no one else likes to talk about disney with me except you guys (they think I"M NUTS)
