Finally, reached a milestone

Exactly a year to go until we go back to Florida. Now I can get into the official 'pre planning' phase of the operation.

We have 5 phases:

Advanced Pre Planning (deciding roughly what we want to do)
Pre Planning (making those ideas definite and beginning to buy tickets)
Planning (ADR's, paying holiday balance and final ticket purchase)
Post Planning (making itineraries and checking all the important stuff is done)
Finalisation (crossing the 'T's' and dotting the 'I's')

Our current focus is on Discovery Cove and we hope to have those tickets bought and paid for by the end of August. We haven't been before so that's top of our 'must do' list for 2013.

Woo-hoo. A year to go!
We had 14 months yesterday until we go (12 Oct 2013) and I'm in my early planning stages (reading tips, deciding on where we might like to go, reading about restaurants etc).
I'll probably start my proper decisions and planning after Xmas.
I love all the planning, it's all part of the holiday!

we're staying in a villa at West Haven.

Spent most of yesterday saying to anyone who would listen (and to those that had long since switched off!) "this time next year..."

Can't wait for my new Brits Guide to arrive, should be lots of new stuff to read up on.
