FINALLY!!!!! Our number came up.

We have been on the wait list for more points at OKW for almost exactly one year. Well, today our guide called and our number hit the 1st. spot on the list. With 3 more months until our original points were paid off, what was the logical thing to do? Buy more points of course. We did not buy a lot more, but, it certainly will make it possible to visit more often.

We waited almost a year to the day, our use year is Dec. I think the timing of this is almost perfect. We leave in a week and can do all the paper work while we are there.
I hope your number comes up soon!!!! Be patient.

Congratulations, Gail!! We added on the last time OKW came available from resales a few years ago. I have been tempted to do so again because my DW and I have been going more often than the "every two years" we originally planned. Maybe I should put my name on the waitlist and then I can argue with her that I hit the "lottery' when it comes up and we just have to buy more points.

Enjoy your trip "home". Will you be staying in the Turtle Pond area? That's still our favorite.

Yes to the above question.So it would be $74 per pt on $10 MB's.

, when I was asked to buy 2 months ago(OKW-waiting list through DVC) there was no MB's on OKW pts. My brothr bought 100 OKW points 6 months ago through DVC and had to pay the going rate($84-now) back then.It doesn't hurt to try though. "Good Luck".
