I am soooooo excited.

Finally, after 1 week home from our 2 weeks in Florida and our August 22nd cruise,(which was brillant) I have come to a decison.

I had convinced myself we would go back next year but for Christmas 2005, with a cruise and a stay at one of the resorts.

But with all the hassle of trying to arrange a two week break with my daughters school holidays at Christmas it was proving impossible to get the dates I wanted, as she has very importent exams next year so I could not take let her even miss 1 or 2 days of school, so I have decided to go at the end of July with a 4 day cruise in the middle as she has six weeks off then and it was proving easier to book. Yipee....

My friends think I am mad, as with the weather this year they said we should not go in hurricane season.

Well the way I look at it, if everybody thought like that then nobody would ever visit Florida between the months of August and November and what a pity that would be.

So I have priced my 4 day cruise and tomorrow I am off to the TA to see about flights and accomodation.

Wish me luck for a great deal and I will let you know when all is confirmed and booked.

Although........ I could still change my mind yet if I could just sort something out for Christmas as I really wanted a 7 day cruise this time.

Oh dear- I thought I had made up my mind. What do you guys think I should do...

Hi Sue, I think it is a lovely idea! When we were in Disney last year in January there were a ton of British people there. Do you get holidays after Christmas? We were there from the 21st of January until the 2nd of February. Maybe you could take a post Christmas cruise if you wanted to try a winter trip. I personally love to go that time of the year because it seems like none of the parks are crowded. I think anytime you go on a cruise is a good time. Good luck with your decision.

Maybe I didn't understand correctly  If your daughter has 6 weeks off at the end of July, why can't you take a 7-day cruise at that time? Was there a reason that you wanted to only do a 7-day cruise at christmas time??

Either way, I hope you have a wonderful trip! Planning is part of the fun! :)

florida sun, let me get this straight. Are you taking the 4 day cruise that leaves 12/22/2005??

See you on the ship!!!! We booked ours about 2 months ago.
We are really looking forward to cruising on the Wonder for Christmas day!
::yes::

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replys, just to answer a few of your questions:

Seaspray - We cant do a 7 day cruise through the summer as the magic will be in the west coast not Florida and we really want go to go back to the parks as well, although I suppose I could price up a 3 and 4 day back to back, but maybe that would work out quite expensive, still worth a thought.

Muishka - yes if we do Christmas it will either be the 4 day on the 22nd or 7 day on the 29th.

April Riddle - My daughter gets exactley 2 weeks off from school for the Christmas holidays and trying to get flights that I can use to have a 7 day cruise and a stay at the resorts is proving impossible. The only holidays after Christmas is 1 week in Feb and then nothing until 2 weeks at Easter. We were at Disney Christmas and new year of 2003/4 and I have to say I loved being there this time of the year which was why I was so keen to go then.

Oh well back to my planning, I'll let you know when I have worked out something.
Thanks for all your advice.

Sue
