Ok - so I hadn't had a chance to listen to the Podcast shows from last week until today.

Since the Forum watch episode was the last one on itunes, I got to that one first - very informative - I really like the concept

Well, then I got to the regular Podcast show :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay:

I was the lucky pick a number winner and I won the Epcot Segway Tour
:woohoo: :woohoo:
I've always thought of doing it, but never got around to it - well now I can

Thank you Podcast Team and Dreams Unlimited :flower3:

It's a great deal of fun.

And everything is better when it's free!

Congrats and have a good time!!!! :cool1:

That was you?! Wow - great prize. We did the Segway tour a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Great fun!

:goodvibes Yep - that was me

Julie usually mentions the winner's board name when she does the prize drawing, i guess she just overlooked it last week

Congratulations. The Segway tours is one of those things I would like to do but can't justify paying for. It does look like a lot of fun.

:offtopic:I was looking for a good place to post this about the show and didn't want to start a separate thread for it, so here goes:

Kathy mentioned that the wheelchair athletes aren't recognized at the Disney races, that isn't really true. Kirstie did get a finisher's medal just like everyone else that finished the race in under the allotted time.

In some races the wheelchair athletes compete separately for awards, cash, or prizes just like men and women compete separately. In these races there are usually 3 sets of overall awards (men, women, crank) or 4 sets if crank athletes are separated by gender. In other races the crank athletes are merely a division and not a separate competition. This race falls into that category.

It doesn't mean the crank athletes aren't recognized, it just isn't recognized as a separate competition. There are races where they are, this just wasn't one of them. The crank athletes for the Princess are recognized as a separate division just like age groups are.

I didn't want you guys to think that the wheelchair athletes got ignored for the weekend.

That's awesome. Congratulations. It sounds awesome! I have that on my Disney wish list.

Wow! Grats! I too am behind on podcasts and am in the middle of the listening to the Rose & Crown review.

Anyhow, DH & I took the Around the World on a Segway tour in December. It was my surprise anniversary present to him. He is overall a very good sport about my Disney Obsession and it was my way of giving him something enjoyable for him (and hoping to turn him to the Mouse side of the force). It was hands down the highlight of our trip! It was fun to learn how to ride a Segway. Just the training in Innovations was really enjoyable but being in the WS with NO ONE else around is just priceless! I got to see so many details I have never noticed because of so many people all around. It was worth every penny (and there are discounts if you are a Disney Visa card holder or I think DVC or AP). I would love to do it again!

After we took some time to lunch & drink our way around the WS. It was a lovely day!

Wow, how exciting. I would be happy to win anything. :lmao:Seriously, that's a great gift, enjoy. :goodvibesPenny:hippie:
