We did it!!

My DH and I have been off and on for 4 years about whether or not to join and we finally stopped being scared and went for it!!

We were on the Fantasy last week and were offered the 120 points for the price of 100, so we did it!

I am a proud new owner at AKL!!

You are so much like us it's scary. We just bought the exact same points and home resort as you. And like you, we've been going back and forth for years.

Thanks everyone! I keep forgetting - it's AKV now!

Not sure when our first trip will be yet.... we booked flights to San Francisco for a vacation in October, so we may not be able to go down for a while. I keep envisioning renting my points until then - or saving them all and doing something insane like Aulani in a year!

Congratulations! We bought at AKV when we were on the Dream last summer. I took DS16 for a mother/son trip in January and stayed at OKW. Next month we will stay at AKV and can't wait to hear those magic words "Welcome home."

We were staying at the BCV with friends who own DVC, and we got our 1st "Welcome Home" after we purchased and my DH had a smile from ear to ear.

I know it will be even more magical and amazing after we hear it at our home resort using our very own points.

It's going to be a great feeling!!
