Finally joined!!!

After the Free Dining we had in Disney I decided to join Weight Watchers. Just 2 days into it and it is going good. Yesterday I ended up with 6 points left.
Any recipes would be great. Its going to be a long road but I have to do it.

As far as recipes goes, You can pretty much eat anything you used to eat. I tried to take all my favorite recipes and figure out the points for them. I just watch the # of oz of meat I eat.

If you ever need help with WW's or just need some encouragement you can PM me any time you like. I could even help you with some food ideas/recipes.

Again, welcome to WISH and WW's.
 
My friend just emailed me and said that costco (in Salem Oregon) has some yummy icecream bars that are 2 points on WW and are called Skinny Cows. I haven't gone looking yet.

i do WW as well, and I would caution you to eat below your minimum -- it can lower your metabolism if you do that too often.

Thanks for your replys. I am trying to eat the total # of points the 1st few days I have been eating under~I know that it is going to be a problem so today I am really trying to eat more.
I made spaghetti squash and really like it. Did anyone ever try it?
 
I haven't tried spaghetti squash, but I just wanted to say that I've lurked on this board for a bit and I'm one month into WW. I wanted to wish you good luck on your journey.
One thing that I've found is Laughing Cow Cheese. It's in the dairy department, comes in circular containers in wedge pieces. Different flavors and it's awesome!!

After my lovely week at DVC Hilton Head and 9 months of comfort eating after surgery-I joined today too! I've been on it before and it is a great program because you don't have to stop eating stuff you like, you just eat less of it. I know myself well enough that if I ban something, I'll do ok for a while, then I'll go completely nuts and eat tons of it. This way I still get ice cream, just a smaller amount. The other cool thing is the flex points. You can save them up and use them all at once, or use a couple each day to tide you over.
Then, there's always my back up plan-when I run out of points for the day-I go to bed!
 
Congratulations on joining Weight Watchers. It is a great program and if you follow the program it really works. I've been doing it for a while, and just found this board in the spring. There is great support and motivation here. One of my favorite lunches lately is Wasa crispbreads with hummus and tabouli. It's low point and the crunchy bread takes the place of chips for me. I joined WW (again) last week. I started out doing the core plan. I go back for my first weigh in tonight. Depending on how that goes, I may switch to the flex plan.

Yesterday was a tough one-back in the office and of course, there were donuts and cookies for a new member of the team. I managed to stay away, but I'm glad I work at home 2 days a week. Keeps me away from temptation!

I like the flex plan, because those extra points give me room for a treat now and then, or a night out where I don't have to be obsessing.
 
I lost 1.4 pounds this week. Since I'm a lifetime member, and I only need to lose about 15 pounds to get back to my goal, my leader said that was really good. I am going to give the flex plan a try this week, and then decide which one I like better and stick with it.

One thing that makes WW more fun this time is that I went to high school with my leader. She looks now like she did then!
 
Well tomorrow is weigh in I hope I lose something. I'll report back and let you know. I have been doing good and I have to pat myself on the back~today my 2 DD wanted to go to Wendys I took them and ate NOTHING!!! not even a bite!!! I am so proud of myself!!!
