Finally Home!

Well It's Sunday at 11:00 at night. We just got back from our 8-7 magic cruise. We were suppose to be home yesterday! All flights cancelled. We had a flight out of Orlando Sat morning. They (usair) got us on one from Tampa. We tried to drive to Tampa but everyone who evacuated Tampa was headed back at the same time. It took us 3 hours to go 10 miles. We never made that flight either. Then they got us a flight out of Miami today. It was about a three hour drive. (Thank heavens we had reserved a rental car because they we all out of them for the people who didn't have reservations.) Had to make a connection in Philly before we could get to Pittsburgh. We spent the night in Miami and flew out about 12:45pm today. That flight was delayed too. What a nightmare! But the cruise was great. I'll give you my trip report in the morning.

Wow, what a crazy situation to be in! We just got back last week and I can't get over what a difference a week makes. Glad you made it back!

I felt sorry for all of those vacationers who had to struggle with the effects of Charley. I'm glad everything turned out okay and you made it home safely!
