Finally Home !!

Just wanted to thank all of you incredible people for your assistance in my finally purchasing DVC. I have been on this forum ( have not posted....kind of shy i guess....) for over a year now and it is your wisdom that helped me purchase 210- points at AK about two weeks ago. I got an incredible price from Disney...November use year with all 2008 points ( which my guide banked for me ) and got the points broken down into three contracts of 100pts, 60 pts, and 50pts. I have been planning this for over 9 years and felt this was the right time to buy. I was able to pay cash for the points thanks to 9 years of saving....and have my frist trip booked for the week after Thanksgiving....November 29 -December 5th. I will be taking my DW, DS and his family...which means a grandson age 6!! It should be special. It is all of you that helped make this possible and it is your knowledge that help me do it "Right". Thanks to all of you and I promise to post about the trip when we are there and when I get back. You all are probably in for it....I love to take photos!!! Thanks again for the kind "Welcome Homes". I just turned 60....wow....and am really doing this for my son and grandson. I hope to enjoy Disney many times ( I hope to go twice a year ...once around the first of December with the whole family and DW and I will go each year in early May.)
I remember as a child watching the Wonderful World of Color ( boy does that date me...)...and one night as the show began..Walt got up from his desk and said. "I have a dream in Florida and I want to share it with you" and he pulled down a large map and used a pointing stick probably 20 feet long and pointed on the map to his dream of Disney World. I told my mother then that I would go there some day and now ...in some very small way"...I own a part of his dream. Guess it kind of is my dream come true.
