Tuesday 16th October
We had a late lazy morning, as we were feeling a little run down! We got to Magic Kingdom in time for our 1pm reservation at Crystal Palace. The food was really nice, there was a great variety on offer; the service let it down though. We waited ages for our drinks, and then had to wait even longer for a refill, after politely asking more than once and then even longer for the bill.
Having said all that, the characters were really fun!
Great place, looks beautiful, but possibly not somewhere Id return to. Never say never though!
After lunch, we strolled around Fantasyland, got a FP for Winnie the Pooh and a surprise FP for Dumbo (Tom was so excited about Dumbo!) I really wanted to go on the Carousel, so we queued in the super short line. I had heard about trying to find Cinderellas horse, but didnt have much faith as there were lots of people around me
Oh yeh, thats right! The horse stopped right in front of me, so I was Cinderella for all of 2 minutes!
This ride just sums up Disney for me its the one ride you always see little Princesses on and never fails to make me smile!
Anyway, next we bounced along with Winnie the Pooh before flying with Dumbo.
We met Minnie and Daisy next in their circus gear, which was great fun. Tom and I played along and the Photopass lady was having a great time!
Time to check out the new card game Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. This game is brilliant for the boys!
Oh yeh, and I love Hades, so this definitely helps! There isnt enough Hercules for me!
Guests were starting to appear in their Halloween gear, so we changed our tshirts and head over to Tomorrowland to meet Buzz Lightyear! He was so impressed!
The Speedway barely had any queue (which I have NEVER SEEN!) so we jumped straight in and had a blast!
We then had a drink in Starlight Café before planning our party. We head straight over to meet the infamous seven dwarves, after seeing Tiana and Naveen (my new favourite Princess!), who told us to bring back some mushy peas and jaffa cakes. Really? Is that what were known for? Hehe!
Big Thunder Mountain was a walk-on, and wow, its so amazing in the dark!
And of course, no Halloween party would be complete without a trip to the Haunted Mansion. And Madame Renata was sat outside compering! She was amazing I was stood for about 15 minutes, just listening to her!
Sorry, not a great photo!
We decided to set up camp on Main Street to watch the Hallowishes fireworks, and had a cheeky hotdog from Caseys Yum! I didnt take any pictures of the fireworks as I kinda wanted to take it all in, but they were fantastic!
