I'm excited to wanted to share lol. My dh has always said NO to CRT... this year he just gave in and said "if we can get in then we can go" So for the last week I've been trying to get ressies, just randomly entering our dates to see if anything comes up... FINALLY tonight we got a 8:40am on wed, Oct 18th. Can't wait for my girls to see the princesses.

We have done The Crystal Palace nearly every year for the last 7 so made ressies there monday as a back up in case of terrible weather on the 18th.

We also have ADR for Chef Mickey's on sunday (the 16th). Would it be overkill to do a character meal at Epcot on tuesday? I had previously made ADR for Akershus but now since we are doing the CRT considering changing it... WWYD?

Don't get your hopes up too high over CRT. The only advantage it has over Akershus is that you can experience eating in the castle (which is something I think everyone should experience once), but besides that the food and, from our experience, the character interaction has always been better at Akershus. Enjoy the experience of eating in the castle, but don't expect too much out of the food quality, IMO.

As for your day in EC, why not book lunch at Les Chef's? It is not a character meal like CM's or CP or CRT or anything like that, but there is a chance that Remy may stop by your table to say hello. If you are looking for a character meal, GG is an alright meal and has some of the best character interaction on property (Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale). :thumbsup2

We ate CRT breakfast back in May and we all thought it was fabulous! We love the character meals and DD is only 3 so she's really into it. I would do both, if you can. We did both Akershus (breakfast) and CRT (lunch) on our trip last September. Would have done them both again in May, but I couldn't get a reservation for Akershus. I love the princesses and so does DD so we like both meals.

We ate breakfast last year at Akershus. The princess character interaction was wonderful but the food (for us) left something to be desired. I am glad we tried it, but I wouldn't go back.

Eating at CRT is really for the experience, eating at Akershus for the food and character interaction. I have always felt kinda rushed at the castle.

I would keep both, but then again, we love the character meals and we don't have children.
