I'm finally about to start on our WDW vacation scrapbook. I am going to do it all digitally, would like to do it in a 12x12 size or something close to it. What online sites do you recommend to get it made into a book? I am using PSE7 to make my book. THANKS!!!

Michelle, I think many are hesitate to answer because there was a bit of an issue here on the boards on the digi side. It got to the point where people were attacking the moderators and posters if they answered any questions. At the risk of getting flamed again by that group, I'll try to help you.

There are several online sites that will print 12 x 12 pages for you, and several places such as Snapfish, Shutterfly, Creative Memories, etc. that will print books. Disney even has their own site of printing predesigned layouts into a book. I have seen one (I didn't make it) and thought it came out nice. I do have my personal preference because the vendor uses stitching rather than glue that eventually comes undone. I've done several size books with them and have been pleased with all. When you research make sure the vendor uses stitching to bind the book.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me and I'll answer any questions for you.

I missed all the drama, so heck, I may get flamed, too! I work all digi now, but most of my books (including the Disney ones) are still put in traditional albums. (Nowadays with the digital stuff I get 12 x 12 layouts printed and then either slip them in an album with drop in pages, or I affix the layout to an album page with adhesive, like a big ol' photo.)

I have made a couple of photobooks (Creative Memories and Heritage Makers). They are nice enough. I haven't tried Shutterfly, although I do have a credit to use up there, so I should get myself in gear and put something together, I suppose. I'm like Lisa in that I prefer stitched binding instead of glue; both the CM & HM books have that.

I am working on my first book now and plan on using Artscow to print it. I read good things about them - they stitch also, no glue.

All great suggestions.. the only one that came to my mind was Shutterfly but I have no experience with them as I only traditional scrap by choice.

I've used Shutterfly for the 8x8 books only. I like their quality, but wish I had gone 12x12, as they are on the small size. Have fun!

i do all my pages in photoshop as 12x12 then put them in as blank pages in a Shutterfly book, They are the only ones i use. I tried Creative Memories but the prices were almost doub.le :scared1:

Thanks! I missed all the drama too, don't get around here as much as I would like. I will research all of the sites and see what will work for me, keeping in mind the stitched binding, thanks for that tip! Hope nothing gets stirred up by me asking questions, if it does I apologize.

No, it's done and over..
No apology necessary!

Feel free to ask questions any time.. someone will answer... or will find someone who can answer.

I just get the pages printed and drop them into the page protectors too. :) I have used scrapbooks please and I like the quality of the 12x12 pages. they have several different quality of papers to chose from. If I am just printing for myself, I don't mind the white border 12x12 that is the "value" paper. I have also gone up one step and have been very happy with that one too.
