We are planning a weekend trip the weekend before halloween... and I cannot believe how excited I am.....I have never seen the halloween decorations and even though we only get to go friday night-sunday...it will be a great teaser trip for our week trip in Dec over christmas...now to my question...what is the whole hallowwen party after hours thing that you can purchase? Is it worth the money...We have annual passes and just curious what its all about and if its worth it for two adult females(me and my mom) and two little boys(7 and 2)....thanks for any info...

I would definitely go for the Halloween party if we were going to be there during one of them. They look so fun and our DS's would love to be dressed up at DCA. You get to meet/see villainous characters and the other nicer characters are dressed in Halloween costumes. You can ride most of the rides at DCA during the party. And from previous year's posts and pictures and stuff, you can really get a TON of candy from the Trick or Treat stations.

You can usually get an AP discount on the AP part of the Disneyland site - except for Oct. 30 and 31 (I think). But, it will probably be crowded, too. So, use FP wisely and have a blast.

You Will have so much fun. There is lots to do for your kids and it is not scary at all! There is face painting and coloring for the kids. There is dancing and music. It is fun to see the Disney characters dressed in their costumes. I would highly recommend it.
