Finally getting the Travel Channel

We just recently got the Travel Channel with our new cablevision line up and I am so psyched! WDW Behind the scenes is on tonight!

Us Long Islanders, who are the highest taxed in the USA, finally get the travel channel in January. Now if we can only do something about the lack of snowplowing on the side streets!!

I hope the travel channel repeats all the Disney shows I've been reading about. Can't wait...

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and had a couple of questions. Did anyone tape the travel channel on the Disney special or is it going to air again soon? Also, we have ressies at the AKL and POLY for 1st week in Jan and was wondering if Samoa would be good choice(near pools so when it's freezing, kids could run fast!)

Okay, all you new Travel Channel people will really appreciate this site. Someone has taken the trouble to set up a website that lists any Disney TV appearing that week. It seems to be kept current and it's certainly been accurate as far as I can tell.

You are right mep319. I currently have it saved in my "favorites" so I panicked that maybe they'd changed their URL. I just took the long way around and typed it into my server and it came up. Here's hoping that method will work for you also.
I apologize but I'm sure it is something I didn't do correctly when sending the post.

I tried that and it didn't work either. Oh well, I'll just have to keep my eyes on the TC...I know AKL is next week, can't wait. We are going soon and DH keeps wanting to go back to WL. If it isn't as good, I'll never hear the end of it. I'm hoping it will help confirm we are making a good choice. Anyway, thanks again!

We finally got the Travel Channel through Cablevision in Westchester. The joke at home now is this one of those channels we are going to watch 24/7.

Please help: a listing of all the Cable channels including the new ones was sent and the start-up date is in January 2003. What channel is your Travel Channel on? It is listed as being on channel 63, but right now there is still a "Shop" shop-at-home-type show on . I live in Nassau County, if that is any help.

I'm finally getting the Travel Channel too, the cable company is upgrading me to digital on Friday. Wheeeee!!! I watched it when visiting family of Thanksgiving and I was driving them crazy because I kept finding WDW programming.

Isn't it sad that we get our WDW fix from the Travel Channel and not the Disney Channel? I can't think of the last time there was something I wanted to see on the Disney Channel. Vault Disney used to show those old films about the building of Disneyland, but that's gone now.
